Okay, so this may or may not be Katniss Everdeen’s unique wedding dresses in the upcoming Hunger Games second installment “Catching Fire” – you know how these Hollywood PR machines work – BUT it doesn’t really matter to us. Because one look had us entertaining all kinds of crazy fantasy wedding dress thoughts (we know – imagine that).
The neckline is fabulous but looks, well, dangerous for the everyday bride, so we’re fixating on the structured, ruffled, tiered skirt. Erring on the side of fantasy, but also totally doable for a real life wedding dress your guests – and groom – will never forget.
While some brides can absolutely pull of the head-to-toe over-the-top bridal extravaganza (and we say more power to em! )#) most of us will probably want to enjoy our out-there wedding dress fantasy in a more toned down way. We say do the show-stopping skirt but keep the rest of your bridal look (veil and jewelry) subtle and classic.
