Marriage Headpieces

I only adore looking at marriage fashions. And while traditions stay close to my heart, I cannot manage to ignore the new trends in marriage headpieces. Simply swapping a tulle hat or adding a floral headband can completely transform your special day look. So which look do you prefer? The couture aniia bridal headpieces in Parant Parant's 'Spring Flowers 2013' collection are gorgeous and have a close connection to nature.

The luxurious spring-inspired pieces take their forms of flowers and an enviroment mindful approach to their design. Swedish designer and founder of Parant Parant, Orjan Jakobsson is inspired by all things vintage and brings this want to his work; though you'd never guess that the components of these remarkably rubbed headpieces are certainly not brand new. For this collection, the designer scoured flea markets for pieces and second hand fabrics to selling into floral forms that reference waterlilies, daisies, forget-me-nots, magnolias and hyacinths.

Even if these decadently designed marriage accessories aren't perfect already, Jakobsson will work to totally customize his pieces to raised suit your style or match the your color of dress. In ancient times, a bride’s headpiece would be restricted to floral wreath for the commoners and jeweled crown for the queens. But times have changed. The soon to be married has a host of options to choose from nowadays. In fact there are stores that exclusively sell wedding headpieces. There are various options of head pieces to choose from for the bride. What one will choose depends on other marriage attire.

If your marriage dress is off white in color, you can go a little trial and error with your headpiece. If it is white, stick to something made of platinum, silver or rhinestone. If it is ivory, you can go for a headpiece made of dreamy pearls or romantic lace. If it any other color, try to synchronize your headpiece with the finishing of your dress. That is if your dress is shiny, go for a shiny headpiece and if it he then go for something subtler. If you are wearing a veil, do not go for a more elaborate headpiece.

Try to keep it simple so that there is a balance between the veil and the headpiece. Choose a small jeweled clip or a pin tiara. If you are not wearing a veil, you can experiment a bit more. If you want a contemporary twist to the traditional affair, go for a quirky head accessory, like a big bow clip or headband. You can also stick to simple floral wreaths. Or else if you want to go entirely vintage, choose to feathered headpiece or a circlet.
